The damage that unresolved issues can cause...

*Taking from an article on dealing with healthy & unhealthy anger:
When Expressing Anger Crosses the Line
Anger is a powerful emotion that can be a healthy expression of strong feelings that result in a constructive outcome. When anger is felt too intensely, too frequently, or is expressed inappropriately it can damage important relationships and create a cycle of conflict for the individual experiencing anger's emotional control.
When anger is associated with negative consequences, such as violence, road rage, verbal abuse, threats, physical damage (broken objects) repeated interpersonal conflicts, or anger-related health problems (e.g., exacerbated ulcer, headaches, muscle tension) it is no longer a healthy expression. If angry outbursts are affecting your family, friends or coworkers, then it is time to consider more appropriate responses to prevent damaging relationships or doing something you may regret. There is no clear boundary differentiating "normal" anger from problem anger. However, if how you express anger bothers you (or should bother you), gets you into trouble, or is damaging relationships, it may be time to consider getting help with anger management.
Men and women may express anger differently. For instance, anger is more socially acceptable in males, and is often expressed physically through fighting. Women are more likely to talk about their feelings of anger and problem-solve with others. Relationships can be difficult from time to time. People disappoint one another, say and do hurtful things, and can be hard to get along with. Identifying a problem in your relationship while it is occurring can be complicated because relationship dissatisfaction is experienced differently by those involved in the relationship. It goes without saying that certain actions, like violating a law or a code of honor generally upsets most people. Many individuals can easily work through minor differences, but sometimes a series of minor issues can build up over time and become a relationship issue.

Here are some important relationship facts:
  • People who are in romantic relationships tend to be happier than those who are single.1
  • Difficulties getting along with a boss or coworkers can impact work performance.
  • Couples experiencing marital problems tend to be less nurturing and their children are more likely to exhibit behavioral and emotional problems.2
  • Regular healthy social contact can be a buffer for depression.
  • Important relationships can be good sources of support when experiencing positive or negative life events.
  • Distressed couples experience a number of negative emotions such as anger and jealousy, or psychiatric problems such as depression and anxiety.2
Interpersonal, physical, sexual, or emotional abuse is a clear sign of a relationship in trouble. There are many types of relationships that exists, and it's always important to acknowledge these signs before they reach their breaking point, thus damaging important relationships that have long-term-meaningful potential.

When a woman's fed up...

I'm sure many of us can testify to the fact of just simply being fed up with certain things in ya life, right? What is the best remedy for dealing with such an irritable time and place in ya life! I know the first thing that comes to my mind is prayer, because our emotions - if we allow them to - can and definitely will get the best of us! I'm not even sure if the way I'm feeling is accurate or if I am simply overwhelmed right now, but I know one thing for sure, I cannot continue to deal with this emotion without firmly addressing it! Scripture say's...
Phillipians 4:7
"6In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

It's not healthy for anyone to hold negative thoughts or feelings inside carrying those burdens around, they're deadly like cancer! Stress can and will eat away at your life mentally, emotionally and physically also! Well in saying all this, let me go and pray -  so I can release this to the Lord and not take it out on anyone else! This way when I am ready to express it, it will come out in an appropriate manner, while I remain considerate of the other person's feelings as well!

Until next time, God bless ~Tiffany

By T. D. Jakes

There are people who can walk away from you.

And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let

them walk. I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying
with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you,
staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone.

When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied

to anybody that left.

The bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest

that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would
have continued with us. [1 John 2:19]

People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not

joined to you, you can't make them stay.

Let them go.

And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that their part

in the story is over. And you've got to know when people's part in
your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead.. You've
got to know when it's dead.

You've got to know when it's over. Let me tell you something.. I've got the

gift of good-bye. It's the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in
good-bye.. It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know
whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me. And if it takes too
much sweat I don't need it. Stop begging people to stay.

Let them go!!

If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and was never

intended for your life, then you need to......

If you are holding on to past hurts and pains .......

If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and see your worth.......

If someone has angered you.

If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge.....

If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction... ..

If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents

If you have a bad attitude.... ...

If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better......

If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level in

If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship. ....

If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help themselves..

If you're feeling depressed and stressed ............

If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling yourself

and God is saying 'take your hands off of it,' then you need

'The Battle is the Lord's!'

Be stable-minded...

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
James 1:6 KJV

Today's Word
If there’s one thing that can lead you down a road away from your potential and seeing the awesome plan God has for your life, it’s your emotions. Emotions are God-given, but oftentimes, people allow their circumstances to dictate their emotions and thoughts instead of the Word of God.
When we allow our circumstances to dictate our emotions, when we get upset by what we see or hear, it opens the door for doubt and fear to come in. The Bible says that when we allow doubt and fear in, we become unstable. We are tossed back and forth. But understand that the way you feel today has little to do with what God is actually doing in your life. He’s working behind the scenes whether you realize it or not! Don’t allow yourself to be tossed around by your emotions any longer. Instead, choose to be stable-minded. Focus your thoughts on the Word of God so you can confidently move forward into the good plan He has designed for you!
A prayer for today
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word which is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. I choose to meditate on Your Word knowing that it is the source of strength and faith. Help me to be stable-minded, and I set my focus on You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen

A shift in growth...

I haven't written in a minute, but here I am again! Transitions-transitions, that's all I can say! You know life is no joke and sometimes it has the tendency to really sneak up on you with things to totally alter your plans! I mean to really have the next two years sorta mapped out and then all of a sudden something drastic takes place and your world has seemed to flip, in a way, ( so to speak)! Sometimes I sit back and I think, God what is it that  you're doing in and through my life! What  exactly are you showing me or teaching me or who is it that your using me to be an example for?! That is how my mind works because I'm like, these things must be happening for a reason! I try to live my life obedient to God to my best ability and when I am out of line I always repent and pray so I can remain aligned with my Savior. So I can say that certain things are happening for a reason, because I know that I am in position and God has ordained certain events in my life. So my logic begins to dive into this reasoning with myself and  my connection with the Lord, in order to gain some clarity! Do you all follow me?

I trust Him 100%, don't get me wrong! I know for me - my life is not my own, it's dedicated to the Lord, and I personally know that if I want to receive all that is in store for me that I must succumb to His leading! Even when it doesn't make sense to me initially, I have to remain trusting the Lord and be prepared for what ever happens! I'm not complaining at all because I realize that I am being used by God, and that is what I always pray...that God may use me for His purpose; but I am just beginning to accept  the fact that all things may not go as I arrange or project. I have always been the kind of person in my past to have my life mapped out with short and long - term goals, because I've always wanted to be in control of my future. Now I still make goals for myself but they're not for my 'self-centered' gain! It's more geared to what is beneficial for My Family: My Husband and Our Kids as well as what God may have placed on my heart! Even though you may devise certain things to go a particular way, the unexpected still occurs! What do you do when this happens? When your heart's desires have seemed to begin to have taken an accidental turn? Perhaps it wasn't an accident, who knows? Who knows the mind of God? To try and begin to even understand what God is doing in my life sometimes is a lot in itself, because I don't always know the next moment or incident that might take place! But, I know God is a perfect God and He will never lead me astray! I guess this is how I begin to really walk by faith in Him and not lean on my own understanding, because that is literally where I am at right now!

I know in the end of each instance, when it's all said and done;  I cannot lose and it all will work out for my benefit and those who are in my life! That is the confidence that I have in my Savior Jesus Christ. I may not know every single thing before it happens or even as it is happening, but I can guarantee myself, my husband and my kids that it will work out for the good at all times!
